Ah... but it IS so.

Davis Locomotive Works brings to you a totally new and highly accurate C Class SHAY that will be included in the upcoming Ozark Northern Equipment Pack.

As with all DLW models, the new Shay features accurate valving action. HOWEVER, in this case, there is also accurate GEAR and LINKAGE action.

It is a thing of beauty to behold it in action.

Also standard for DLW comes the research and extensive knowledge of many years of researching steam built into the model. The result is a prototypically accurate model reflecting standard construction and decor appropriate for the target era, in this case, 1893.

Below you will find a screen cap of Ozark Northern #100.

Brought to you by the magic of DLW.

That is one stunning engine Andre, with the photo pasted onto that tree background, it takes a bit of looking to see that it is only virtual.

Jon is going from strength to strength.

Hi Andre!

The Shay is simply perfection. Can't wait to see how it runs. It is the most-needed locomotive in MSTS. It'll look right at home in the piney woods of South Mississippi, as well as Arkansas. Maybe we can talk Jon into a 42-ton or smaller 2-truck Shay later!

I really appreciate the hard work you, Jon Davis, and others put into routes and equipment like the North Arkansas and Ozark Northern. Good to see others have an appreciation for the golden age of railroading, small steam, and shortlines. Your work, as well as that of the other masters such as Tim Muir, Wayne Campbell, SV Steve, etc., really show the potential of MSTS in historical recreation of things many of us didn't get to see but wish we could. Many thanks to all of you!

Maybe a month or 2, even more possibly. Andre who is working on the route also works for a real railroad and it takes up most if not all of his time. However, I think the route will be worth the wait cool.gif smile.gif
