The Stair Step Falls scene is ready for final tweaks, and then it's off to the next interest point!

Below you'll find a couple views of it. The engine in the pic is Ozark Northern #8, a Vauclain compound 2-8-0! wub.gif

Last one for now...

Andre,

I am afraid that I am falling . . . . . . . . . head over heels in love with that one scene along, let alone all the other teaser shots you have show us of the abuilding ON. Can't wait!!! No rush though, take your time and do it right, just like you always do.

That can't be a Vauclain Compound, there's no cloud of steam blocking the view to the front. Must be a warm day. laugh.gif laugh.gif

My Oh My, is that ever pretty, Andre! Why, you could make that the focal point of the Tourist Brochures for the railroad. "Visit the famous Stairstep Falls!" Imagine a winter scene with the vapor rising from the falls and the water pouring over the ice flows. My Oh My!

OK, I'm still new around here and I want to know if that water is animated or a still in the route?

What's animated are the TOC Simmers who are pacing around behind the scenes just waiting to get their hard drives wrapped around this fine piece of software biggrin.gif

That is stunning Andre - no prizes for guessing one of the upcoming favourite photo stops...

Really love the change in colour of the water where it goes over the flat of the rock, changing to white as it meets thin air - simply beautiful.

Rod:

You've got that right! I can't wait to break my neck in a runaway cause I'm gawking at all the natural wonders! laugh.gif

"Imagine a winter scene with the vapor rising from the falls and the water pouring over the ice flows ..." - Uncle Herb

Jeepers! Uncle Herb, yer bringing tears to our eyes wit' yer poetry! Andre, do a brass hat tour activity to orient us to the physical characteristics of the line, and make Uncle Herb the commentator ...

Grindre:

The falls are static objects.

All:

Thanks for the words of encouragement... it really helps me to push onward! Few things in route building is more disheartening than posting a pic that you have labored to produce... only to have silence follow. unsure.gif

Stair Step Falls will likely be the scenic high point of the route. If I go too overboard with the scenic features, it will become a bit on the "hokey" side?

However, the urge to create may overcome the discipline of restraint. rolleyes.gif

Took a cheesy RE pic of a trestle on up the grade from Stair Step Falls...

Oh .... So this is what you have been up to since I have been away?

Time well spent. Time WELL spent.

Those pics are stunning. Not too much, if you know what I mean, but just the perfect amount of jaw drop in my opinion.

Your skills continue to breath freshness into each new project you undertake, and the nuances and fine details show no hint of a dimming of that creative fire that has empassioned all of your previous efforts.

In other words: Yur stuff looks purdy nice.

You know how to find me, should you be in need of testing. I think I have the credentials, and unfortunately I have the time again.

( For more info on that - Andre you already know all about it)

Peace,
