Just purchased it! Thanks a lot! I have a question maybe you or Marc could answer. In the past when I purchased something using Pay Pal, the transaction would go through in a matter of minutes. Now it tells me that it won't clear until a couple days later. Anyone know what is causing this or does it have something to do with the individual banks? Just curious.

That's exactly what it is. I have got to update my credit card expiration date. My new card hasn't been activated yet.

Great looking loco pack too Mr. Belanger. The cabviews look really sweet.
Thanks!

Allright Andre how much for the CD. I am on dial up barely and my phone line passes under the bayou and the nutra rats are chewing on the cable as the gators have gone to sleep for the winter. I can not do any thing about this as the last time I droped a stick of dynamite in the bayou I had the high Sheriff and game wardens out here and they thought I was taken fish. I was not going to waste the fish no but had to see the Judge and he understood for true. BTW ask GB why all those Cajuns left Louisiana and went up there where it is so cold yea.

I just downloaded, installed, and tested. Very nice Alcos, Gaetan & Andre! It's a nice change from the D&H, Conrail, and NS I've been running on my eastern routes. I will miss looking forward to the LNE route as you've dropped the idea, but at least I have a piece of railroad history from my home area. Thank you both...

Thanks all for the purchases. Gaetan and I both appreciate it very much.
Erika:
The LNE route is still safe and sound in cybertronic storage. If TMTS experiences delays in releasing, who knows what could happen over the next year or so in MSTS land?
Dave:
I can do that. However, my percentage is minimal. If you would add $2 to the asking price and send the funds directly to Gaetan (instead of using the LNE PayPal button), he will notify me of the details as to where to mail it and I'll create a label and print it, burn a CD, and mail it.
Gaetan can be reached at: gbel@valleypass.com
Christian:
Gaetan is handling the "paperwork" when this pack is purchased. So... you'll be getting an email from Gaeatan this time!

Gaetan,
Your work has always been at the top my "favorites", but this pack really sets the pace

The cabs defy explanation--my daughter said it best: "It looks like Syberia" (a high-end role-playing game that she has in her collection with some really stunning 3D models). And the detailed cab interior from the external camera is awesome

. And the sound--truly Alco!
Happy Holidays!

OK, enough accolades.

Leave it to ol' Herb to find problems.
First off, I LOVE 'EM! Now the issues.
Great sounding horn, but you can't play it! It has one length of toot - long. It is impossible to blow a grade crossing with the thing. Needs to be looped and indexed for better control.
Now, in all those lovely engines, only one little issue. But for those of us who are, ahem, coff, coff, "whistle artistes" it is significant.
OK, one more itty bitty issue: The reversed engines should have had separate numbers.
I'm done.

I'm not sure, but the horn problem might be because the sound wouldn't loop right without clicks.

I will check the horn later this evening since my E-mail of record is there and not here at work. Right now I'm using the "goose horn" from Rick Grout's Donner PA's so I'll put yours back and give it a shot!
As for the reverse engines, yes the reverse S2 should be another number so you aren't running back to back 613's. Same for RS3 656 (I think - all from memory since I don't have the sim here) reverse. It gives you 656 on both ends of the consist. FA 702, same deal. I have already "fixed" the issue by copying the necessary files to a set of reverse units folders and painting new numbers on the units for the reversed engines but many folks wouldn't be comfortable enough with files to make this change. Tweaking files is my life!

Geeze but a mind is a horrible thing to waste! There is nothing wrong with the FA's and the RS
2's, only the reverse 613, which I made a 611 (anybody know if that's a good LNE number? - 616 could b an alternate

). Too many late nights. Sorry for the confusion.
Anyway that's the one I duplicated to get the two engines to be different numbers when back to back.
As to the horn, well we're working on it.
Here's the 613 and 611 pottering about Rich Garber's Ohio Rail.

Herb,
The S2's were numbered from 611 thru 616. The FA's had numbers 701 thru 710 and the FB's had numbers 751 thru 753. So there you have your choices.
Paul
PS: Those S2's look good in Ohio.

Thanks Paul! Gaetan sent me the below site for LNE. A goodie! Shows that the only two S2's which had MU connections were the 613 and 614 so I have another little renumber to do. Kind of like the 611 though so I might just leave it alone and do another 614.
Who says there's no modeling in V-scale?
Here's the site:

Great stuff!
Unfortunately I didn`t find time to test it so far :-) They`re awaiting Xmas on my PC to do so
Andre: You really don`t want to give the LNE a chance of a revival???
Happy Rails,

What a treat! I puttered around with all the packaged consists on the A&O Sub.
Now, I'm just going to have to create an activity or two that helps Christian believe that North Arkansas is Eastern Pennsylvania and then he'll give this LNE route thing a rest!
BTW, does anyone know of a high quality, commercial add-on package of transition freight cars, 40' and 50', to go with Gaetan's jewels? (I know there is a lot over at T-S, but there's a lot of junk there, too - nice skins with goofy physics ...)
