Lookin' good, Erik!
Don't know which scene I like best: the "causeway", which I pass everyday on the way to work, or Port Costa, which I can see from my home in Benicia.
Keep pushing--I sense a fine route in the making.

This is the one I have been waiting for since it was first announced. I grew up in the Bay area, so this is close to home. Do my eyes decieve me, or are those Daylight coaches articulated like the prototype?

If we wait long enough, we will be able to run the whole length of CA in train sim!

You are correct... there are cars in the set that are articulated. Cool, huh?

And if you are lucky (assuming I stop working so much at my regular job - never go salary!

) hopefully I will be able to add some of the triple articulated units. Though probably in 2-tone grey first...... then maybe Daylight.....
Now if I could clone myself, then there might be a GS steam engine to go with it.

or at least win the lottery.....

It's a good model, the only issues are the paint is a bit off. I have TGA's to fix that, but the conversion didn't go well and the tender dissapeared on me. But it would have mached the 1955 daylight very well. Maybe someone else can do some new ACE files. Oh, and got the "Correct" look for the Southern Pacific Lines lettering she wears today.

http://www.startrekgaming.com/moon_xl/msts/zips/I hope to hear from Justin so I can upload my corrected .ACE files. These files will not only have a "correct" and current 4449 paint scheme, but match the 1955 consist in the train-sim.com library.

My GS4 repaint is up in the TS library, it'll put her in her current (Montana by Steam II) paint scheme. Enjoy! Search either under my name James Maxwell or Daylight
