First off, thanks a bunch for bringing us the upcoming C420 with the conventional cab and AAR trucks*.
I don't know what roadnames are seriously being considered, but wondered if you'd like some pics of some Alco C420's (with conventioan cabs and AAR trucks*) that are still in daily service for consideration?
As most of you probably know, the Arkansas & Missouri is and all-Alco powered line. C420's (with conventional cabs and AAR trucks*) comprise the backbone of their fleet.
If so, let me know and I can take my HandyDandy Lil' Doozie digital cam with me to Ft. Smith tomorrow and see if I can catch them in town.
If I don't catch them in town, though I've been shooting slides for my "serious" stuff for the last couple decades or so, I probably have some prints of them laying around that I could scan and forward.
Being as they are reasonably handy, I can even get custom detail shots that you'd want just let me know what you'd need. (Bear in mind that I will likely NOT be able to climb on/all over the in-motion unit!)
Lemme' know.
