I don't know why I didn't notice this sooner, but aren't the zebra stripes incorrect on this unit?
I think they are supposed to be applied so that they run the same way when multiple units are hooked together, no matter what direction the cab is facing.

The 1761 has them just like on the model, I just checked it again.

To be really sure I also checked a CN model in Trainz, and they are the same way.

But what you say does make sense though, when you just mirror one side, then they would always be the same direction.

But then a whole side of combinations would be running the wrong way though.
