Here are all of the original activities from the St. Louis & North Arkansas repopulated with Davis Locomotive Works' engines and cars.

Step 1 (if applicable): If you are running Train Store, open Train Store, go to Tools and Unstore Everything. Once completed, go to step two.

Step 2: MOST IMPORTANT! ohmy.gif Back up your files! Go to Train Simulator, Routes and open your St.L&NA folder. Copy the Activities folder to a secure location. Then go to Train Simulator, open your Trains folder and back up your Consists folder to that secure location.

Step 3: Save this zip file to wherever you transfer files (don't run it on Marc's server!) and unzip it there. It will produce two folders, NA Activities and NA Consists.

Step 4: Open the NA Activities folder, Ctrl-A to select all, Ctrl-C to copy all. Navigate to Train Simulator, Routes, the St.L&NA folder, and open the Activites folder. Right click amongst the files in there and select Paste. Say "Yes to all" on file overwrites.

Step 5: Open the NA Consist folder, Ctrl-A to select all, Ctrl-C to copy all. Navigate to Train Simulator, Trains and open the Consists folder. Right click amonsts the files in there and select Paste. Say "Yes to all" on file overwrites.

Step 6: Enjoy the St. Louis & North Arkansas in all of it's glory! tongue.gif

Of course, if there are any problems, please let me know. I haven't run ALL of the activities so keep me honest! cool.gif

A small note..
In "New Hire 2", seems to be a little problem. One of the static consists calls for a boxcar - SOO XM and som number I don't remember. I don't think it's part of the route or add on pack, at least I didn't have it so I replaced it with another.
It seems to working great otherwise..
Thanks for the great job.

Cheers

I ran into a little glitch on New Hire 2 also when Coonskin told me to drop the first two empty flats in on the lumber spur. Whoops! I had replaced one of them with a gondola! I caught that one before publishing and put the flatcar back. blush.gif

As I went through the consists, both operational and loose, I replaced loaded cars with similar loaded cars and empty boxcars with empty boxcars and/or reefers. The only license I took was on the MT flats, putting in an occasional gondola in place of them. Davis made just too many neat cars not to try to use them all! laugh.gif

Because of these changes, you may have to tweak a consist or two to have the right cars in the right places for Andre's work orders. Sorry about that. Too bad you can't save, adjust a consist and then restart.

I've converted about 6 of the StL&NA Activities, but, being lazy, I think I'll use yours!

Thanx, Herb biggrin.gif

Hah! Yep, easier to tweak someone elses work than to start from scratch! laugh.gif

Herb,

I too found that you seem to have used an item of stock that was not part of the pack...... Someone a little earlier mentioned an item of stock ....Soo XM................ When i was using Train Store after installing the new activities i noticed it said there was an error finding SOO_XM_15608.WAG......After searching on Train-Sim it appears the item is listed as soo15608.zip and is a Soo line boxcar that looks to have crept into one of the consists you have used.

Just gonna go and try the new Look StLNA now.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Dave.

Duh [slaps forehead]! blush.gif

As W.C. Fields once said, "I've been hoodwinked by my own chicanery!" A couple of months ago, I renamed that pretty nice TOC boxcar to match the NAPack cars so it would be easy to find when making consists. I forgot the trick when I made up the loose consist replacements!

It shows up in three activities and I will fix those and repost them tonight!

Sorry 'bout that gang. blink.gif

Actually, it was four activities. You will find fixes in "Activity Fix, Removing the Soo."

So many i's to dot, so many t's to cross. Gotta love MSTS! tongue.gif

Thanks again Peter and Dave!

Herb, as a fully paid up member of the StL&NA club, can I just express my gratitude for the swap-outs you have done on the original activities - only tried 2, but they are great. biggrin.gif

With Jon Davis' stock and Ole Coonskin goin' on in the cab with you, it is a winning combination.

Excellent work, thanks

Rod
