Thought I'd update all on what my current status is with VSC:

Now that I'm settling in with my new role with Pioneer RailCorp, I'm using some of my time to return to the StLNA Pack. As of tonight, I now have all the player engines up and running for it. That may not sound like much to the uninitiated, but believe me, after all the cloning/renaming/modifying/etc, of the engine/wag files, it can be a nightmare. (For example: I missed one parenthesis in a couple of values and thus crashed the sim several times finding it!)

Still to come is create the AI's w/adjusted driver values (to address the wheelspin glitch), as well as the Helper engine files (to be controlled by the player's engine). Next will be to create player trains, AI trains, etc, and extensively test run all of the equipment. It will then be time to package the product and test the installer. Lastly, upload it, create the sales page, and go live with it.

Too early to predict precisely when it will be released, but I think it is safe to say that it will be within 1-2 weeks. One week if all goes perfectly, two weeks or so if snags are encountered.

Amazing how much tinker-doodling there is to this stuff!

Andre - good to hear, no rush, but I'm awaiting with my plastic...

Looking forward to using that stock on the route, and maybe producing a few screenshots (just for a change!).

Woohoo...

Can't wait - sir...

And - yes- it sure has seemed a bit quiet on the MSTS front... Been bush flying the misty fjords around Ketchikan Alaska in the lull... smile.gif

A couple of downloads caught my interest... Tim put out some great looking UP reefers... Wayne has that fantastic Traction route - but - I must resist - those darn toasters - but - they look SOOO good... wink.gif

Regards,
Scott

I'm glad to see you still find the time for your projects.I'm also amazed you have the time.I lost a girlfriend over the railroad because of all those 12-16 hour days.Andre, maybe the LNE might be a good first route for TMTS?But then what about Gaetan's beauties?
