I installed ProToolz in Trainz but cannot find the tolls within Trainz - are there instructions OR where do I look for the tools?
Archive
The installer prompts for the Trainz folder - some have assumed the files were to be installed into the Custom folder, and wound up with everything burried too deep. If you installed Trainz in the default location (C:Program FilesAuranTrainz) then you shouldn't have an issue.

To use the tools in Surveyor:

1) Open the Objects tab
2) From the Region area (USA, etc.) select "3DTrains"
3) Select "ProToolz" from the type dropdown
4) Select the tool you wish to use

Thanks, Marc ... I found the tools where you said they were ... are there any instructions available on how to use them now that I have found them?

Check the 3DTrains_Docs directory inside the Trainz folder.

Marc, After using your ProToolz templates and reading the CONFIG.TXT files, how can I create station platforms with spline points for track? Jeffrey.
Archive
I take it to mean you wish to create a new model of a platform?

Cheers!

Marc, I wish to create new models of platforms with spline points for track. Jeffrey.

Not exactly a support issue.

However, create the item in Max, export to a Trainz format and follow the info in the Content Creation documentation avaliable at Auran. Notes regarding splines are there.

Cheers!
