Full Version: Changing a consist

When I ran activity 62 and dropped the first set of empty hoppers, I noticed the ones I were to pick up were also empty. I thought it would be better if I brought back loaded hoppers, so I added a new wagon to the Canton 30ft hopper folder that had a gravel load.

My question: If I modify the wagons in the consist at the BMX Aux track by changing them to my new wagons, will it invalidate the saved activities I have for activity 62?

Most likely it will. Changes to the activity usually invalidates the save.

I'll change that in the activity btw. I didn't realize they were empty.

PS On second inspection in the AE the hoppers say they are full. You sure they are empty?

It will kill all of your saves. Anytime you mess with the activity, youcan delete any prior saves. I recommend deleting them in the sim. I have found at times if you delete from Explorer, it will also wipe out saves for other routes.

All the hoppers on the BMX Thompsin Div tracks are empty.

I think I found the problem. Looking at the activity, the consist in question (32781) shows it has ctn-hop-f as the wagon. Looking in the trainset folder, the file ctn-hop-f.wag did not have a 'FreightAnmi' line. It may have been edited out when I was making friction value changes. Entered the 'FreightAnmi' and the full cars are back.

Okay, I was wondering cause I have a picture of me in the yard on that activity with full hoppers in tow. Thought I was losing my marbles again. wink.gif
