Here's what I think the sub looks like.

Kerry:

That profile looks very close.

My only suggestion is that there seems to be an upgrade when running from Walden to Beaver.
I can coast all the way from Seligman to Walden and beyond, but I eventually have to apply
power to get to Beaver.
Jus' my viewpoint . .

And could you flip it so that it is left to right - west to east, like a map? ohmy.gif

Here you go...

That profile is the output of the MSTS Route Profile Generator, which I mentioned in the "Grain Haul" thread, but with station names added.

Yes, you are correct. It is from Route Profiler. The only thing in question was my placement of the towns.

Thanks for that Kerry et al. That helps a lot. Tom, if you look closer, I do believe it does show that upgrade from Walden to Beaver. At least it looks like it to me in the map as I look at it closely!

Thanks. I didn't really realize that the grade to Seligman was that steep. Now I see why I have problems going in that direction. Thanks again! smile.gif dry.gif wink.gif

Where can you find the MSTS route profile generator? seems like a neat little utility.

Its in the train-sim.com file library. Search for rtprof01.zip.
