On the Santa Fe Zebra Striped GP7s, which have the dynamic brake bubble, any particular reason why the dynamic brakes were commented out on the eng files? I have rewritten them for full operation in my examples and they seem to work great. Were there problems?
NewEngalandRailFan
Just a guess, but they could have been rebuilt for just yard operations.

Could be, but unlikely in the '50s zebra striped livery. Well at least they are working well with the mods. tongue.gif

I asked Rory myself, but he said he did it so long ago he did not recall. He will come and answer your question shortly.

Herb, would you make that engine file available for others to use? Just wondering. I would like to have the dynamic version on the one I have! smile.gif smile.gif

OK, it works like a champ with dynamics and it's just a quick fix. biggrin.gif

I'm going to have to look at that. I have so many things added on to that loco that I run the risk of crossing the pay/free line in letting it out for general use. I'm using Marc's cabview and sound files from Maple Leaf Tracks and 3DTrain Stuff. And of course the original engine is from SLW, but it's been shrunk down to 92.5% to be nearer to correct size, mostly repainted, and it just goes on! ohmy.gif

Tell ya' what I'm a gonna do! I will post the lines of file changes necessary to activate the dynamics, with where they fit into the .eng file and let the modeler do the cut and paste. I'll post that later on tonight.

OK, gang, I have modified the .eng file and have sent that to Kevarc for review and posting. Coming soon.

Thanks Herb. I appreciate it. I am sure that Kevin will do what is necessary to have it posted soon. And I thank him for that as well. smile.gif
