I am raising this here as there seem to be no contact details on the V Scale site.

While I would like to purchase some of the V Scale products, this is not to be due to the fact that PAYPAL has been chosen as the medium. While PAYPAL may work for the USA and Europe, in their wisdom PAYPAL have decided to exclude a number of countries globally from their system - for no apparent reason as these countries are still open to credit card purchases.

V Scale - in chosing to use PAYPAL you should note that you are excluding a number of potential purchasers of your products.

Note also that it would be courtesy to state this UP FRONTon your web page, so people interested in your products need go no further if they are not in a country in an area recognised by PAYPAL.

And incidentally do not bother querying with PAYPAL the rationale behind this - I and others have do so a number of times and either recieve no reply or gibberish.

If I sound annoyed, I am, as this happens all too frequently!

First, a couple of quick observations:

On each purchase page, contact information is available. Perhaps you overlooked it.

For more rapid access as well as to be more readily seen, I have now created a "Contact Us" page with the information needed and linked this new "Contact Us" page to each page's menu header.

This is stated in large font on each product's "purchase" page. Perhaps you overlooked this also. To alleviate such oversight in the future, I have additionally placed a large font statement with the PayPal logo on the "Home" page.

I must be missing something, as I cannot find the contact us links you mention!! Maybe not loaded yet. See http://www.vscalecreations.com as an example, with the only links being Home, Products, Forum. Ditto on the other pages

The point I made about the PAYPAL was that although one gets to it on the Product Page, rather have it up front so one does not have to get interested and then end up finding PAYPAL as the end result!

To undertsand the irritation over PAYPAL is simple - marketing a product via the use of PAYPAL accepts that it is going exclude people (albeit maybe only a few) and quite simply often sends the message that the vendor is happy with the markets covered and could not care about the rest. We are global now!

What about selling the products also via 3DTrains - is there not some link here? SWREG? That way credit cards could be used. Or Cafepress? Latter is usable I belive without you incurring extra costs. Why not support organisations trying to make an effort? And incidentally, if PAYPAL could explain why they are different to anyone else it may help - they cannot.

Lastly you should delete this post - there is no point having it cluttering up the Forum, or having this form of content on the Forum!
