Having run the first (3) student runs and Activity 4, I'm totally blown-away by the A&O.
If the original default route (BNSF) had been this good, I'd have never put MSTS on the "hard drive scrap heap'"

The sound of the Alco 251 is infectious; I've found Run 4 and Run 6 an especially great sound!
(Maybe I should plug it into my HDTV and surround sound?)

I've been a devoted steam fan (Andre's StL&NA got me back into MSTS),
but running the A&O could convert me from a steam fan to a diesel fan!

Whoa! What am I saying??? Diesel fumes musta got to me for a moment there!
Steam forever! Yeah!!!

Forgive my momentary lapse in judgement, but Andre's A&O is already a pleasure and challange to run.
Even if it requires me to drive a (UGH) diesel

I've said it many times before: Point/Click: Different era/locale/theme - the beauty of MSTS!

In other words: It's perfectly acceptable that your favorite route happens to be the one currently being enjoyed!

Hey Tom, I have mine plugged into my surround sound with all eight speakers I have around my room working and boy does it sound awesome. When I really want to get in the mood, I cranked her good (when no one else is home) and it sounds terrific. Try it, you'll like it. But then I have a pretty good sound card too.
