Full Version: Brake Valve Cut-Out Valve Positions

I have been noticing lately (since I got transfered to engine service) that the 26-L Automatic Brake Valves on most of the freeware and payware engines are in the Cut-Out posistion.

In real life when the valve is cut out the unit is set up for trailing posistion and the Automatic brake is in-operable, except for emergency applications.

In the pictures below you will notice the posistion of the knob/switch.

In the Cut-In position, the knob is horizontal.

In the Cut-Out position, the knob is vertical.

Ahhh, that’s what I've been doing wrong all this time. I couldn't figure out why those darn red blocks didn't seem to apply to me.
