A while ago someone posted that they had problems with MSTS after going to windows XP,I dont know exactly where I saw that post but as I am about to go to XP can any one give me feedback on the comatability with MSTS.

I use MSTS with XP and have little or no problems. The only thing you'll need are driver updates for your video card - other than that, MSTS should rock-n-roll without issue. smile.gif

Thanks Mark,yes it goes without saying that you need the latest drivers with XP.


That gives me a bit more confidence with XP now.

There's more to XP than most realize - the stability issues are worth the upgrade alone. All my games (especially MSTS and Trainz) run smoother, look better, and have less crashing.

Memory management is also enhanced - I'm currently running 1Gb of system RAM. I upgraded to XP-Home, as I didn't need the networking features of Pro. All in all, the best $90-bucks spent in some time. smile.gif

XP is light years ahead of ME or 98. The best thing if you upgrade is back everything up, refoemat and do a clean install.
