Tried to download the UP Uboat from the roundhouse got a broken download, and now all I get is a zero length file.

Had no problem with the SP Geep tho. Has the Uboat been removed, perhaps?

Turns out maybe not my end after all! If your file is using a Clickteam installer. Mcafee virusscan is identifying it as a trojan. ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif
I did my homework, and Clickteam says Mcafee will soon be updating the virus .dat so it no longer misidentifies the program as a trojan.

Anybody who gets a virus alert on the file can choose "Exclude" to exit the warning screen without having to delete the file.

AND BTW the U23B looks great

I assume you were able to download it then? I am leaving in less than an hour again and will be gone most of the week for more on the job training.

Yes, I have it--
Your file is fine- the problem is Mcafee, and they are fixing it(info per Clickteam website)

Just another in a list of 100 reasons not to use McAfee, like number one, you have to go get the updates it doesn't come to you, number two, it mistakes things like this a lot, number three, well.....never mind. I don't know which one I dislike more, that one or Norton. Guess, it would be Norton which has screwed up every computer I have had for the last three years. Ok Ok, but it is true nonetheless. The Europeans have the best virus and firewall software........trust me on this one I have used them all at least once or twice. cool.gif

Yep- probably the only thing worse than McAfee is viruses! biggrin.gif

Norton is a pain, but McAfee usually is pretty good- and the updates take about 60 seconds.

But as with all other "conveniences", when it's bad it's bad. It took a full virus scan and an half an hour of reading to get it figured out. wink.gif
But nowadays security is needed, so we must live with an occaisional glitch ohmy.gif
