Yes, very nice Kyle.
I saw something I hadn't seen before, the other day while picking up my granddaughter from school. We live very near several NS tracks, and there is a small yard just down the road. Anyway, normally I will see only two engines on the NS trains here, this not being a major route for them, but I saw (and please don't ask what kind of engines they were because I couldn't tell you, first I have been away too long and need to get back up to speed on what is what, and secondly I am an F7, Geep, and Steam Engine fan), anyway, there was a lead NS engine which I only caught a glimpse of and the two helper engines had CSX liveries. I believe the last engine was number 6760 or 6780, I have simply forgotten. I just wish I had taken my camera with me that day. I had never seen this before. Were the two CSX engines just engines that NS has recently bought and haven't repainted or what? Anyway, was just curious if one you CSX or NS guys could fill me in because, I see NS trains when I go after my granddaughter, but I had never seen one with any other liveried helpers nor one with three engines.
Thanks, and looking forward to what you have coming out. They look mighty good. Really like the cabviews. Since I live near the NS lines, I am partial to those. One of these days, I have just got to go down (less that a mile) to the overpass and get some pictures there in the small NS yard.

According to my little cheat book, if they were CSX, then they would probably be GP40s. If NS, it would be SD50s.
So with out seeing a pic of what you saw, I will defer to a CSX/NS fan.

Nice shots, love the slight blurring effect my monitor has given the ties creating the effect of a panned shot.

If they were NS and in the 6700 series then they would be sd60s.If they were CSX then they would be sd40s if I'm not mistaken.

Could be I was just going by what my "2002 Edition Locomotive Rosters and News" said, it is a year out of date. I have the 2003 in the camera bag next to the front door..the one I take to work with me while I am supposed to be driving the truck down the road and working...

I love my job I get paid to drive around and railfan.....heheh

No but I think there's some new cookbooks out. Cook a railroad like you would any other fine quality meat.

Darn, Tim, I was gonna let it go, but you hadda jump right in!
I thought they were going to get one of the railroads to a formal dinner, then everyone would make short speeches putting the railroad down.

At least he didn't ask for a
Rooster, like I frequently see, but then that could be a roaster also, couldn't it?
