Taking a lunch break from the Route Editor. smile.gif

Below are some quickie pics from RE giving general views of Green Mountain Falls, Woodland Park, and just west of Divide. Divide proper doesn't have facility/yard tracks as yet. Working on getting the alignments and elvations close coming in/out of Divide. Tough place.

Well... so far I know:

* It was in operation in 1893.

* The lumber mill was about 10 miles away from Woodland Park.

* The identy of one (only?) of the locomotives.

What I DON'T know:

* If the narrow gauge physically connected with the CM.

OR...

* If the narrow gauge only transfered to the CM on nearby tracks.

* Where it was in respect to the CM track in Woodland Park.

It would be nice to add the supporting track (hence revenue loads for the CM) to represent it... but I need to learn more. Thus far the above is all I have.

Well... the town of Divide is turning out to be EXACTLY what I expected: A booger! Slow going.

Worked most of the day here, and this is all I've got so far...

Got 'er Done!! (I think.)

Divide is IN! Been a slow go... but by cracky... here she is (see below)!

Note how the tracks line up with the markers??? Huh??? SEE??? laugh.gif

Ol' Coonskin's been tryin' his best to adhere to the markers as closely as practical. Of course, the route's not a "perfect" replica of the CM... but it's certainly gonna' have the feel and look of the ol' CM that lives in the picture books.

Hard work... but fun!
