I haven't been able to find any info on using the File Attachments thingy when trying to post pix.
It says I have unlimited space, yet I get an error message that my pix are too large.
What's the size limit on pictures and other files.

What format are you trying to upload and how large in bytes? IIRC, the attachments for screens is limited to JPG.

Ya, I'm using .jpg. Now it's how big in bytes or size.
1024s won't work and 800s won't work either. How small do I have to go?

512 Kb is the largest allowable size total for a single post.
