I am now the proud owner of the Ozark Northern route by Andre Ming.
Just picked it up from snail mail today and am running the 'tutorial' thingy and must say,
WOW!!!This is gonna be fun...

Many thanks, Andre...

I was running it this evening, showing Miss Ann some vistas that we saw on the bike trip. It's some railroading! Revisiting St. Paul, it was remarkable to see how the old Frisco ROW from Wolf Pen to St. Paul that Andre traverses with the ON captures what one sees today from a vehicle.
Mind yer brakes, Rick!

He he, I want to post more pix but keep running into problems doing so.
ImageShack isn't letting me upload more then one or two pix a day and the Attachment thing here keeps informing me that I'm outta space.
Am going to try my own web site for this...
Sheesh! Those mountains are steep!
I'm having a ball, though...

This is quite a route;

Lost it the first time down but am creepin' about 2-3 MPH this time around.
Sheesh! I'm about as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockin' chairs...
Enjoy!

Only issue I have is that with all the lumber companies, where are they getting their log???
It needs a narrow gauge spur or two to retrieve the logs...
They just seem to materialize when needed. LOL

Some of them appear to be floated down the creek. Given the presence of trees, it wouldn't surprise me if they were simply cut down. Although, some tree stumps would be the giveaway to this.

Especially the branch at Zink city is great. So steep that you can barely handle it. As soon as I got finished my currently LnPS activities at
Ohio Valles System, I`ll dedicate some to the ON! Great route!
Cheers,
Christian
