Download and unzip the horn sounds you want to use, though I think Marc's are fine.
Rename the wav files - there are two, the second has x_ infront of it.
Then copy then into the common file sound folder. Let them overwrite the old ones.

That should do it.

Yep - As Kevin suggests, it appears that you forgot to change the "x_" (external) horn file.

Cheers!

I had problems with the horns on my ATSF FUnits cutting out on a long blast (suspect a keyboard problem since it also occurs with several other horns). I replaced the original horn with one named "FUnit_horn" for the cabview, no problems it works just fine. The horn for the exterior is listed as " FUnit_x_horn" and, of course, won't play in the "head-out" mode or any other exterior view. Should I rename this file to "x_FUnit_horn"? unsure.gif

Many Thanks,

Should I rename this file to "x_FUnit_horn"?

The SMS file points to "FUnit_x_horn.wav", so renaming the file won't help. What are your in-game sliders set at? Perhaps they're too low?

Cheers!
