Poor Marc. No doubt he's lived the Weekend From Hell. I'm sure you have all been aware of the forum hiccups that have been taking place the past weekend? Well... ol' Marc Nelson has been at it 24/7 trying to get things ironed out!

Looks like we're back in business. Sooooo... time to post! (I can't believe how I missed this place!)

Upside to the forums being down: I got quite a bit accomplished on my Coal Belt project!

First, take a look at the master track plan I've been hammering away on. Note that rails reach all planned outlying points. Still "really need to do" is lay the basic IM&S track (light red on the map) from just south of FS Jct to Greenwood. That in place and test run to insure no terrain anomolies... and I'm free to start filling in the finer details and start static placements/etc.

Have a gander at my progress. Next post we'll look at the FINISHED Van Buren area!

EDIT: Ooops! Seems there's still some pesky bugs scurrying about. (Can't post pics yet.)

I believe I have the upload issue solved - give it a try.

Nice progress you're making on your own project too!

As for you looking forward to the Coal Belt project, well I must say: I am too!

It has been a lot of fun (and fulfilling) to work on the Coal Belt project. I know there will be times I need to take a good break from it, but for quite sometime now, it has been fun to work on it and is the only MSTS thing I have wanted to do for some time now.

More will be said in a new thread forthcoming!
