There I was lookin' at the sea of green terrain and the incomplete track at the Ft. Smith industrial area... wacko.gif SOOO... I rolled up my sleeves and started mixin' n' matchin' track pieces to get something close to what my data indicates. unsure.gif

I've ALMOST GOT IT! Just a few tidbits to finish out... BUT... (and this is important) the elements are in place so I can forge on toward Van Buren if I desire. YIPPPEEEEEEE!!!!! cool.gif

Take a look below at the AE screen w/annotation of what I've accomplished.

I'm so PROUD of me! laugh.gif

12/16/09 11:55 PM CST...

NEWS FLASH!

The Frisco rails reach the Van Buren side of the Arkansas River!!! biggrin.gif Inclusive with the rails reaching Van Buren: "Hill" siding and Ft. Smith Rim & Bow spur are in, as well as another spur and siding (Midland Heights), as well as the IM&S Jct switch AND the small Oak Park siding.

Plus, the basic rails of the IM&S are in place to IM&S Jct. Tomorrow evening I'll likely finish them up, tying them into the SLSF at the IM&S Jct switch. (IM&S Jct is just a mile south of the Arkansas River crossing.)

This all may seem like a small thing, but like I've been saying, Fort Smith has been a butt-kicker... and I've stalled out a number of times trying to fit the elements in. BUT...

....I AM PREVAILING! cool.gif

Braggin' on me is like hollerin' "sic 'em" to a coon dog that's got a coon cornered. laugh.gif

HOWEVER...

Had a 12 hour workday today. Day started at 5:30 AM... got home about 7:45 PM. Just finished supper. Tuckered out. Still need to call and check on mom as well as some other odds and ends.

Soooo....

I may not feel like getting much done tonight.

However, your kind words of encourgement is always much appreciated!
