After seeing many screenshots and the growing interest in American content, high-detail routes and screenshots I can't help but ask. Why RailWorks?
What are the advantages of it?
What can it do that MSTS cannot?
Is it more realistic?
Is it more intuitive
Is it more interactive?
Is there anything else I should know about it before I buy it?
Is it developer friendly?
Is it "mass transit" friendly?
...is there anything else I should know?
I know it's not yet what MSTS is now in regards to content and a community, but those same innovative minds that have made MSTS what it is now are already doing the same with RailWorks (case in point: Marc's ATSF F-Units).

Did RailWorks fix the problem RailSim had with the difficulty in writing activities?

What difficulty was that?
There's still a few issues to resolve, but the sim overall is progressing nicely.

Cheers!

I was told it's a lot harder to write an act for it, and when you finish running one you don't get a report like you do in MSTS.
I have Rail Sim and tried running it for awhile, but there was no directions on how to run it, and I got tired of running through reverse-point switches because I couldn't tell if how they were set until I was on top of them.
I don't want to pay for it again unless it's easier to figure out, write acts for, and has other improvements.
Graphically it's second to none. Otherwise, I'm not sure I want to invest a lot of time with it yet.
