Hello Andre,

I just wanted to say I purchased the Ozark Northern a few days ago and have been running it non-stop since. What an excellent add-on! It was well worth the price not only for the excellent route and highly-detailed locomotives/rollingstock, but also for the learning experience. I now have a better understanding of steam locomotive operation after battling (and after many tries, conquering) the 3.9% grades.

Well done! thumbsup.gif

Thank you very much Eric. I hope you continue to enjoy the route for years to come.

Looking forward to seeing some of your excellent quality screenshots of the ON on the forums!

Well, just completed the last activity. Never thought I'd like a 'steam' route, but boy, this route has blown me away. From the beautiful steam engines (love the shay) and all the freight/passenger cars, to a simply stunning scenic environment, capped off by well designed activities. Wow. When running an activity, I feel I'm being transported back to 1893! Thanks to all involved.

p.s. Andre, any chance of making an activity pack addon for the O&N? You are a master of creating realistic scenarios, (I also have your A&O route too), and wouldn"t think twice about purchasing it.

Thanks for the kind words, Al. I'm glad you are also enjoying the Ozark Northern.

Comin' from a "diesel head" like yourself... I reckon' that's quite an endorsement!

For additional ON Activities:

If you'll become a member (it's free) of the Ohio Valley System "virtual railroad", there are already ON activities being posted. Here's a link to the OVS:

(EDIT addendum: I just visited the Ohio Valley System website and I see their concept is to be re-aligned to focus on Ohio-based railroads. I'm unclear as to how this will affect the Ozark Northern being a part of their system they are migrating toward. SOOO... if your primary interest is the ON, it may be too late?)

As for me creating additonal ON activities. I'll need to think on that one a bit. Right now I'm very much enjoying working on the Coal Belt project.

Well, if I can ever get out of the Feather River Canyon, maybe I'll cook up a few more activities for the ON. But you know, I'm getting spoiled by this diesel business - feet up on the console; flicking the dynamics - I might not go back ... rolleyes.gif

Fear not - I'm an old kettle head to the last staybolt. I keep coming home to the ON and the StL&NARR.

Steve,

Looking forward to more of your O&N activities. For now, enjoy the Feather River. Can't go wrong with that route!
