Have just purchased a new in box copy of Rail Simulator from Amazon, wanted a disc copy and did not want to go through the Steam thingy, besides the updates is there any place besides Steam to download the addon's such as the routes, cars, engines and such with out using the steam thingy. Any and all help is appreciated!!!!

Most add-on content for RS can be downloaded from either Train-Sim or UK Trainsim. Be sure to check compatibility on whether for Rail Simulator or RailWorks before installing the add-on.
