I always enjoy Rich's evalution of anything new but haven't seen his comments concerning the recent introduction to RailWorks. I am putting my purchase decision on hold until I read his opinion.

RW is fine. I like it pretty good. I'm not sold on this Steam thing but as far as the game itself, it's great.

Have faith in Steam. It's getting a lot of flack from the train simming people because said group tends to be a little older and not necessarily into "mainstream" computer gaming, which is where Steam has its roots. I've been using Steam since it first launched and now that I'm accustomed to it, it's my preferred method of purchasing new games.

It will grow on you, trust me. smile.gif

Appreciate your evaluation Rich.

I was a bit confused with remarks made on other forums from some downloaders having dificulties on opening day. I guess that's to be expected in these somewhat rush-rush situations.

I will get RW on DVD when it is available in the US, meanwhile, I'll keep my eyes focused on 3D Trains for latest RW opinions from initial users.
