Hey Marc Is it fixable?

Also.. I discovered something rather strange. I opened the file "Surfliner_6904Front1024.ace" in TGATool2A and look what I found.

Proof that this is not and operating system issue nor graphics card issue. smile.gif

There's nothing wrong with the file. The file uses the alpha portion at the bottom to allow for 1024 x 768 resolutions. However, you shouldn't see the bottom half unless you somehow monkeyed with the file afterward, as it's always appeared a-OK here (and no one else has mentioned this in the past several years since release).

Cheers!

I have never monkeyed with the file. I have installed the package many times and it was #6904 that had the messed up cabview. All the other ones were fine.

I was reading this post and decided to take a look at that car. It's one that I hadn't run yet. This is what I have. I don't understand? Others seem to be fine so far.

As from the original screen above, it appears that I goofed when I converted to ACE. Attached is a fix...Until I get an installer together, extract the attached file to your TRAINS\TRAINSET\3DTrains_Surfliner\Cabview folder.

Cheers!

Ah...I've heard it's alright, how many running miles do you get out of that?
