While all the crowd stood and waited for the display trains to move to the platform area for display we decided to walk the 6 blocks and shoot away. It was a typical display as usual were you could walk thru the locomotives and some of the CN/IC exec cars.

Metra had the usual with a clean MP35 with a cabcar and two Amtrak coaches. The Amtrak spokesman sounded positive about Amtraks future with the latest funding from congress
