Jason,
Whenever you post something like this you need to be a lot more specific. What file? What were you doing when the error occured? If it occurs loading MSTS then what new items had you just added to MSTS?

Since you mention F7A Demo, I suspect that you added a consist that uses one of the F7A Demo. Marc is on version 3 so there have been at least 3. The first and second are not easily obtained. I doubt it is the third version as the ENG file/folder for it is not named F7A Demo. So that brings us to look for other solutions. You can delete the offending Consist file or you can edit it and replace the engine with a similar engine that you have in your Trainset folder. Either action requires you to know or find which Consist file contains "F7A Demo". One way would be to open Windows Explorer and locate your Consist folder and sort the files by date and open the most recent files with WordPad (NOT NotePad) and look for "F7A Demo". Another way is to download a program called "Unisearch" from the Train-Sim file library and use it to search all your consists files for the phrase "F7A Demo".

So, don't blame Marc and 3dTrains for your problem. Blame who ever included a consist with F7A Demo in an MSTS add-on.

Right now I have tried running Train simulator, and I get the "error reading train database file" message and here are a few files needed for Train Simulator:

3DT_F7A_DEMO

that is the only desperate file I need right now

Jason

p.s. when I get the 404 on this site, it is when I go from another site just for the F7A demo

It is not just a file you need the whole file folder containing the F7A demo. But they are no longer available. I will repeat the solution to your problem:

The problem is a Consist file you have added to MSTS is calling for the F7A Demo engine.
