I'm trying to run a route that was never released. It's cal;ling for scale rail files that aren't included in the Pack.

The files are named similar to: sr_1tbrg_n_001m.s

Which package would those be in?

Hack
I show the file as being there. Have you checked the Global\Shapes folder, or is this an error generated when running the sim?

FWIW, when generating the shapes and to keep errors to a minimum, assembling the ScaleRail pack is an automated process. Shapes are extruded and dumped into a holding folder in a single step, and from there, the whole ball of wax is placed into the installer. I show the bridge piece as being in the generated list, so it has to be among the other shapes.

Cheers!
Marc

Nope, I don't have those files.

Here's the list of files kicked out by Route Riter

Here is my GLOBAL\SHAPES folder

I would then suggest reinstalling ScaleRail - the image you posted above is showing only ScaleRoad sections. FWIW, I just installed ScaleRail, and the "_n_" files (41 of them, including SR_1tBrg_n_001m.s) are indeed in the Global\Shapes folder.

Yeah I downloaded the wrong file. wacko.gif

This reminds me to ask: I see in my route several SR _c_ shapes that have a concrete tie profile where others do not. The former are often 2t, 3t, or 4t shapes.

Have I failed to download and install the latest version of SR or are these just old shapes that never got the new tie profile?

Hack
Dunno...which shapes in particular?

Cheers!

Seems to be all of the SR_3Str_c_*.s shapes.

Perhaps I've got a screwy install, you know, sometimes I got zips from you instead of the installer; Perhaps I have all of the shapes but they arrived over multiple dates. Or once the old 3t shapes came along.

Can you check one of yours... say the 030m tangent?
Hack
Shaped profile here too. I must have swapped the shapes when assembling the installer, as I was able to generate a new shape that come out correctly.

Gonna fix it?

Hack
I suppose I'll have to. wink.gif

Don't think you "have" to, but your willingness to do so is certainly appreciated!
Hack
Already finished last night, Joe. Since I'm on a newer PC, I'll have to come up with a new installer - one that gives a few more options than the last one (standard vs modern). Barring unforeseen circumstances, I should have it completed and uploaded this afternoon.

Cheers!

A zip file, issued as a patch, might be sufficient. It's not likely anybody could do much w/ only 3t curves and tangents anyway. smile.gif

Hack
There were a few more missing items that needed to be included anyway, so not a problem. smile.gif

Cheers!
