It was the worst winter in living memory, almost bringing the mighty UP to its knees. A call went out to Eastern Roads for help and an unknown independant second class outfit rose to the challenge bringing their own equiptment.

I will be needing some SERIOUS beta testers soon flowers.gif

My plan is to release these {Oh yes there are others to come} as repainting kits. rolleyes.gif

Wow... ohmy.gif cool.gif flowers.gif

You even built a custom cab for that beauty of a locomotive!!!

It sure looks great, the engine itself, the trucks, the glossy hood, ... so much to look at and enjoy.
I'd happily be one of your beta testers, yes, also a serious one wink.gif , and please put me on your list of eager repainters! Finally a first-class early hood diesel for RS, thank you so very much Dick!

Cheers!

Beta GP9

Phew!!! unsure.gif Here is my first effort at a loco for RS. Please try it out an let me know what you think. You will need a password to open the archive so contact me when you have the zip file.

The finished package will include the psp files and instructions on how to repaint the model. They are not intended to be a super, super detailed model just something for you repaint.

You will probably recognise the kinship to my MSTS reskinning Kits!!!! wink.gif

Eventually I hope to release them as donationware. When, that is, the powers that be at RS get in touch!!!! blush.gif

Beta GP9

Just noticed!!! It has a see through cab!!! I used the same ace file for the cab inside for both the cab view and the loco. So what?? It had an alpha channel to give the inside a bit of shine BUT that gave the outside view transparency!!!! I have fixed it here though and it will be ok in the final version!!!!
