Nothing but....weeds and trees......left of the Milwaukee. A nasty Soo caboose......maybe. Savanna must have some kind of fertile soil.....cause since the yard closed up.....back in what 1980 or so......the plant life just took over. There is a track buried in the weeds that has rails in concrete for a stretch....dont know what it was. If you go to some of the satellite servers and look down at he yard......you can see what once was...

I remember that yard being loaded with lots of trains, locomotives coaches, etc.. Had pictures but the took a freak flood shot about 12 years ago and did not survive

Nice pictures there. I notice alot of different railroads for the diesel unite. One locomotive (number 9076) looks likemit used to belong to General Motors Electomotive division.

EMDX 9076 is an EMD leasor currently contracted out to the BNSF along with all of the other Oakways and EMD 3, the SD60 testbed for the new SD70 trucks.

Very nice shots. I'm guessing that they blanked out the GM nose logo on the lease units because of the EMD spinoff?
