After spending the summer home in Socal, I'm back in the Bay Area for school; after celebrating a great Cal victory, I spent labor day at Niles Canyon to see and ride this beauty.

First two shots are approaching Brightside yard during my brief morning chase





Shot while riding the train; certainly was nice being able to see and hear the engine rather than being cooped up in an amfleet car;



Lastly, the engine backing out of Sunol for another run through the canyon (my brother took this shot):

Should have positioned yourself in the Combine up front. Great sound, and its where i was hiding at when i wasnt up front.
