I was just browsing through my MSTS folders and came across 4 3D CVF files ( E-Unit, F-Unit, GP9 Hi and Lo) and 1 3D Trains Update Batch file. Their location puzzles me. ( D:\Procram Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator folder. Is that where they are supposed to be? I have some E and F units that I purchased installed in MSTS, shouldn't those files be in their folders instead? And also Should I run the Update batch file or did it run when I did the installs? It seemed strange to me so I thought I'd ask just to be sure.

The extra CVF files are probably from the cab converter, and the batch file from an earlier version of the ATSF F-Unit set. At any rate, all can be safely deleted without harm to MSTS or your current loco installs.
