Chip,
Problem: There are 2 "Name" fields. One before Loco Description and one after EngineOperatingProcedures.

This causes problems for ConBuilder. Rcmd removing one.
dekosoft
Hmm, sorry but I'm not seeing this -- I checked for duplicate "name" with a search in the .eng file and also checked in ConBuilder (1.5.1) which appears to working fine -- is anyone else having trouble?

Thanks
cr-stagg
What happens is ConBuilder changes the Last name field. Then when you reopen ConBuilder later it displays the first Name field which has not been changed. Changing a second time or editing the ENG file to delete one of the Name Field lines will correct the problem.

BTW Chip your naming convention is almost like mine. I use "RR Type/Eng ## description creator/reskinner" so your "GP35 -- ATSF # 2952" became "ATSF GP35 2952 Blue/Yel Deko v2.0" This way (Using ConBuilder) all my ATSF locos are together and I can select them easier by type and quality of the sim.

Also the second Pic in my post above is now my Windows Desktop. biggrin.gif

Sure is nice, just copied the cabview from a previous ATSF unit and off we go.

Chip,
I went back to the original unziped to another HD. Found only one "Name" field.
Concluded that the new version (1.6.3) of ConBuilder had added the extra "Name" field. Have had another problem with that version that I already reported to the authors. Will report this one now.

Sorry for your trouble.

Kevin,
Great Idea. Thanks.

BTW have you noticed the steps?

Chipster:

NICE looking GP35.

Any chance of a payware version showing up in a ATSF/SP/UP pack for use on TP2? (Or ATSF/SP.) Also, maybe an ATSF "yellow ends" version included someway for those of us that also enjoy the pre-yellow bonnet era?

Chip, I noticed that when checking the wipers only the front wipers were animated, the rear windshield wipers stayed static. Great model, I'll be first in line when you release them.

Charles: No problem, thanks for the feedback -- since I haven't updated ConBuilder yet I can appreciate the head's up.

Andre: There are plans for all the names you mention, though UP is first in line. Young Mr. Jones has been busy with a couple in his set due by the end of the month:

The others may take a bit longer, perhaps by Fall, depending if we make deadline with the CSX set...

Dgauci: Actually I intended for only the front wipers to work (my understanding was they are independently switched on), though if the consensus is to have everything moving then I think I can do that. Maybe MSTS2 will give us more controls and switches in the cab like MSFS... or multiple panels even... yeah, dream on. dry.gif

Thanks for the reply Chip... looks like I'll "need" to pick some up.

Now, if only I could pull my head out of RE and TSM long enough to actually PLAY.

And maybe SWREG support? I cancelled a "free" paypal account before paying them the $1.95 membership fee (?) and my card has been "forever banned from use in the Paypal system"
