Nobody in this forum appreciates an SD-40 more then Kevin. This shots for you, caught at Davis Junction today were the ICE and Illinois Railway cross. Classic SD40's all the way wink.gif

Six months ago it was regular to find any old EMD power around here in the Bay Area. With California's emissions standards, UP has been starting to store the units and move them out of the area. It was a regular thing to see 3 tunnel motors leading a manifest around here a year ago but these days its pretty rare to see an SD40-2 at West Oakland diesel. Sucks!

Here's a couple of photos to add to the collection of older EMD power.
