This is Jon. I am having a problem getting activities that feature the Super Chief on the Cajon Pass Route to run on my computer. When I go to edit the consist in the route editor to make sure the activities load the game crashes. I installed the route on my pc just like the instructions said to. Please reply back to me with thoughts on getting this problem fixed. Thanks a lot.

Use conbuilder, and I think Marc has it here in the free section, its free and use it to make up your consists.

This is Jon. I have ConBuilder and now it isn't working at all. I have downloaded version 1.4.9 and version 1.5.1 and it loads and then it crashes and will not come up at all. Is there another consist program I can try. Please reply back to me with thoughts. Thanks a lot.

Are you able to load other locos or consists in the editor?
Cheers!

This is Jon. I have to use the Activity Editor that came with MSTS to edit my consist with I still have a lot of activities that do not work because there are problems with the locos that shipped with the cd so what I need is a copy of all of the working consist, locos, and activities sent to me so that I can have the working ones. Please reply back to me about this. Thanks a lot.

Install to a new location (other than to MSTS), and you'll have the items you asked for.
Cheers!

This is Jon. Do you think I ended up with a defecive disk and should ask 3dtraintuff.com for a replacement to be sent to me since the one I have doesn't work right like it should. Please reply back to me with your thoughts on this. Thanks a lot.

If the disc installed, then it isn't defective. What I'm not clear on is why the need to open the activity editor to edit what was installed in the first place? All that should be needed is to install the CD and run the included activities as designed.
BTW, what video card do you own...is it an older one? Perhaps this is an issue with not being able to load large textures, as the GP-9 and passenger cars use them.
Cheers!

This is Jon. I have a 3DFX Voodoo 3 16 meg graphics card in my pc now and will put back in my computer a NVIDIA GEForce 3 64 meg AGP graphics card. Will that fix all my problems with my engines that will not run and consists as well. Please reply back to me. Thanks a lot.

The Voodoo3 can't handle the textures for those as-is, so if that indeed is the problem, then yes, installing the GeForce3 will do the trick.
