biggrin.gif Wow - what a great surprise annoucement this morning on the webiste - CSX Super Pack. The MP15 (will there be more than 1 and in different paint schemes?) is certainly a much needed and great addition to compliment the package....summer 2003 is just around the corner. Chip, please consider adding the unreleased SD40-2 8077 to this package...it looked great in the earlier advertisements for the SD40-2.

THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

Great work as always!!!! This will be like Christmas in summer.

Michael,

Thanks for your post -- I'm encouraged by your enthusiam. smile.gif

The exact contents of the set are TBA (it is under construction!), but there will definitely be an assortment of CSX schemes, as well as 'heritage' units with CSXT subletters. (I think it will be weighted more towards the late 80s-early 90s era, but that is not to say there won't be a bunch of 'dark future' schemes as well.) More than likely #8077 will be in it, as well as some other units not seen before, by me and the all-star crew (Ken Wright, Phil Andre and Bryan Jones) -- I will be handing out more screenshots here and on the Dekosoft Trains site.

Thanks,
Chip

Thanks for providing more details at this time and look forward to the updates. Sounds like it will definitely be a SUPER pack. Thanks for the 8077 - been wanting that one for a while now. The MP15 in the ad looks awesome!!!!!

THANKS AGAIN!!! Michael

Chip, are going to do some Family Lines\Seaboard schemes also? They sure would look good on the Clinchfield. I think that will be my next project is a large activity pack using both parts of the Clinchfield route. It appeals to me more than the NEC. But either way I plan on using a fair amount of Deko. biggrin.gif

Hi

I notice the UP set as a month of release and if I remeber correctly the UP set was announced after the CSX set.

Just aking if there is a shorter time frame of release for the CSX set, end of summer, start etc.

Cheers

* An update of Ken Wright's previously released Seaboard units will be included.

* I've been slightly delayed with production and am now targeting late summer, though still can't give you a specific date at this time. Reasons for this: 1) The UP set is larger than we first planned (and will offer you more bang for the buck with a couple surprises). 2) the CSX set is planned as a CD-ROM delivery, and over twice the size of any set we've released so far, so there are quite a few pieces to polish before going to press. Once the UP set goes live, however, full attention will return to the CSX...and pitching in some rolling stock efforts with Andrew and Marc, and taking in all those user requests, and, and, and.... blink.gif Seriously, I'll try to give you some updated screens by the next site update before the end of the month.

cheers

I'm very much looking forward to this set as well. Also, this UP set coming out looks very fine indeed.
