Hi All:

Thought it time for an update on the status of the Ozark Northern.

Though my vocational hours are weird and consuming, I have devoted some of my free time to working on the route.

As far as I can tell by repeated flyovers, the basic route is now "complete". That is, all static (and animated) objects are in, the terrain is modified as best I can, etc. (There are a couple of obstinate spill overs due to tile borders). Next major thing is Track Objects, such as signs and names.

Due to the size of many of my textures and objects, the heaviest popluated tiles stop at about 700+ items. However, overall the route looks nice and "full".

I've taken some pics of a few of the towns to illustrate its state.

Below is the first of four...

And the small sawmill town of Elam...

Next up is Wolf Pen. The name "Wolf Pen" comes from an actual name at the same location in Arkansas!

And lastly for now, another look at St. Paul, Arkansas. According to my railroad history books/research, St. Paul was the self-proclaimed "Hardwood Capital Of The World"...

Andre, you have well and truly cracked it with the Mosaic terrtex - love the paths/roads and general spill over from the dirt areas into the green.

Looks excellent smile.gif
