I've been doing a 'widdle piddlin' after some suggestions from Scott Clawson and Andre 'Da' Ming. I'm too lazy to do my own posting so thanks Alex!

Thanks y'all. Good to see the 'old gal' still has some fans. Here's a progress report with the yellow being what I've already finished.

Now looking at those pictures have the Canton group had the audacity to buy out the WV&O or has the FLC just got the running rights over the route

Dick,
Over at OVS, we run almost any of our equipment on the routes ( Ohio Rail, East Metro, Cumberland, A&O Sub, Canton, St. Louis & N. Arkansas ), so you may see anything anywhere ( including the OVS stock as well ). But, we would really like updated WV&O and OR&W equipment ( "new" ones and updated direct replacements, from any era, steam to more modern, though the most modern stock is "supposed" to be OVS, in keeping with our extension of Rich's original Ohio Rail storyline ), so feel free to make some of those. Heck, we will even send you a copy of the OVS logo and color scheme if you feel really froggy.

I did join the OVS many moons ago. Probably still on the pay role somewhere though I never ran any trains and probably got no further than a ganger checking the ties. I have rarely been out of the loco or the carriage and wagon works !!
At the moment I am slowly upgrading my re-skinning kits but I have a week away from civilisation at the beginning of next month so I will pass some of Ohio rail stock through the plant.

Excellent news Dick - especially if they could be named to provide straight swaps for the stock used in the activities.

But don't worry we will get there.
How about the East Metro rolling stock too?

Dick,
I have already done some "new" East Metro stock ( using your kits ).
Here is an old pic of my first one ( first ever repaint for me ):

Looks good Rich. Sorry if this is a dumb question but will the Ohio route be available for puchase again or will this upgrade only be for those who already own it?

Ohio Rail is a freeware route available over at AVSIM. The new upgrade however will be payware and will be well worth it from the photos.

Thanks for the info Paul. I didn't see it at the All Aboard site so thought it must of been discontinued. I'll head there now.

Someone give me some basic schemes ..I could make a few modern Ohio Valley rolling stock.
A couple boxcars, gondola or two, a cement hopper.....some one just say the word

Progress on the Ohio Rail upgrade has been swift:
1) OR&W run is finished.
2) Florence industrial area is finished and am poised to move onto Pleasant City shortly.
3) Finished the limestone area just south of Zanesville.
4) Am currently in Zanesville where I have leveled the entire city and have already rebuilt the steel mill area as well as repopulated the industries with railroad. Only the papermill and the steel blastfurnace objects as well as the rolling mill have been kept and a couple of other objects. I Have piddled in the Zanesville Yard some but not much. I'm hoping I could have the bulk of Zanesville done by today.
Below is an updated progress map.

Thank you for the update Rich, No one in the entire train sim world would want you to rush your work, but have you set a timeline when you want to release the update or its a "It will be ready when its done type makeover" I would prefer the second choice.

I'm hoping to have a release in a couple of weeks time. Hopefully no longer than three weeks time. Just a guess though but this is going pretty fast.
