I thought I would never get to this point. I am wrapping up work on my sound package and trying to get a couple more demo files (like the shay files) ready for Andre to post. I ended up with 4 usable rod locomotives after all. Two are Stephenson valve gear (a little mushy at speed) and two are Walschearts (crisper). Only one would really do for larger than medium size locos --perhaps a USRA light Mikado.
There are also sounds for wooden freight cars and the interior of a wooden passenger car or caboose. There are new coupling and uncoupling sounds as well. I have a variety of bells, whistles, air pumps, and even pop-off sounds.
I'm not sure how long the testing and documentation will take.
