Guy's
I get this error in Conbuilder:
The texture file ../../sd40_up3825/CABVIEW/d11cw5.ace
specified by the file sd40nite.cvf does not exist in the folder
C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\TRAIN SIMULATOR\TRAINS\TRAINSET\SD40_UP3825\
The error was found on this line: CabViewFile ( ../../sd40_up3825/CABVIEW/d11cw5.ace )

I redownloaded the UP common file and installed it,saw something in a post of a patch and that didn't work. Benny

Kev,
     Tried that also,not there.    Thanks

That file is in the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\gp35_up794\CABVIEW
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\gp38_up905\CABVIEW
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\gp40_up908\CABVIEW
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\sd38_upy833\CABVIEW
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\sd40_up3801\CABVIEW
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\sd40t2_up8601\CABVIEW

besides in the folder it is reported missing from. Have you looked in these locations?

And BTW that file is not distributed in the UP common file it is distributed in the files for the various engine types.

And FWIW some Windows 101 instruction.
-Open Windows Explorer
-In the left panel click on the "+" icon to expand C Drive
-Then the "+" on C:\Program Files
-Then the "+" on C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games
-Then the "+" on C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator
-Then the "+" on C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS
-Now right click on C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET
-Choose "Search" from the menu you get from right clicking
-Now enter the filename of the missing file in the space named "All or part of the file name"
-Now click "Search" and wait for the results.
