I have been commissioned to build the fleet of steam and diesel locos for Rich's Cumberland route. I have done some research on the net but I need some pointers.

What colour scheme did the diesels carry while steam was still around? Any other information about the period would help. What period are we talking about anyway. I guess the 60s

Please help a mere limey to whom Cumberland is a beautiful part of Northern England
