When modifying the track sounds to get them to occur only over the switches and junctions, is it necessary to change the bin file AND the track properties in the editor?
I received good assistance in changing the BT_Ballast Bin folder info, however, I wonder if the editor change is also required?
Does the selection of a particular type of track effect the sounds too?
Thanks!

I don't believe it matters for switches and tunnels, but for bridges and other special track work the track properties need to be changed in the editor.

Cheers!

Marc,
Will setting the Distance between Joints and the Junction Clatter Distance in the Bin to zero, effectively "turn off" ALL the track sounds?

Found out the other way to limit the track sounds is to deal with the locomotive bogie file directly. Thanks!
