Impressive stuff, isn't it?

Check out that coupler draft gear detail inside the pilot opening!

Cool.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!! biggrin.gif Absolutely great looking unit! I hope that you'll eventually do one for AT&SF. The D&H one will definitely find a home on my D&H Bridge Line!

I have no use for it. rolleyes.gif But! If the front end were red, with a little yellow and black on it here and there, now that would be a different story! biggrin.gif

Needs a radio antenna platform, a centered exhaust stack (Santa Fe rebuilt the turbo charger and the stack was centered and turned longitudinal to the body) and a silver (stainless) panel underneath the grill behind the cab door. The only ones with a red panel there were 59, 62, 70-73 and 76-78, late additions to the series when the L-A-B lashups were broken up and the "B" units became 62L-69L and 74L-75L. 60 was odd in that it had Farr grills from the cab door to the rear and didn't have the curved drip strip on the side. 74 also had Farr grills but with the drip strip.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, the original steam generators were replaced with Vapor Clarkson units so the vents and such were the same as on F-units - rectangular box replaced with round screened vent.

Gaetan

P.S : about stack and platform i can not change the shape because is only
a free skin for the D&H shape and i don't see this parts on the D&H version

I thinks can not add ATSF version with D&H because royalty

Gaetan:

I've never been a great PA fan (apologies to those who are), but those ATSF units look fabulous. biggrin.gif

I didn't think BNSF was being as straight-laced as UP about the royalties, but then I'm not involved in the business side of things. That's too bad if they are. sad.gif Those are lovely locos!
