John (post above) has a pretty good perception of the way things be around here. I'm trying to work on it as I can when I can.

Some of today has been spent addressing a bit of a setback: I was running a test train on it the other night, and noticed too much badly floating track. So, I've been pulling up terrain one poly at a time all the way up to Fly Gap, and will need to do the same on the north side of Fly Gap. Tedious and time consuming, but the only way to minimize the nasty tendency that MSTS has in the way it handles terrain.

All for now!

Andre

That's all right, Boss. We can't have Uncle Herb hitting a washout at speed. laugh.gif

I've often wondered -- would it be possible to make the track texture object in the shape of a "T" and toggle cruciform lighting, so that the gravel bed would be "planted" into the ground ?

I know the route is delayed due to real world activities.

Would it be possible to release Jon Davis's CN equipment as a separate purchase (as was done for the STL&NA) ahead of the CN route ?

I hope Andre will do so. This equipment is too nice to sit dormant and unused.
