Sorry, I have been a little behind on this. Finally got the engine off to the paint shop! and now getting as much info on the cab so we can have an authenic cabview.

Also finishing up on the water canteen and some freight cars to go along with her as well as a class CF caboose.

Promise to have some update shots as soon as I can.

If you want some pictures of the 1218's cab drop me an e-mail. I was able to take some in cab pictures of the locomotive because they where giving cab tours on the day I went to VMT. My e-mail is adamparsons3291@hotmail.com

Thanks for the offer Adam! I am getting lots of info from the N&W Historical Society Archives, so hopefully that will cover all the basics.

Not at this time. We have been spending a large amount of our time on the Cal-P route.

Sadly work on the N&W class A project has slowed down a bit, but I assure you it is still being worked on. At this point, most of the work on the 1218 is complete, with only painting to be done, and work is progressing on a couple of sister engines. Keep in mind this project is focusing on the A's as they appeared around 1950, and the plan is to have several pieces of rolling stock from that era as well as a class CF caboose. Rolling stock about 50% complete and cabooses are in the paint shop.

But as Erik mentioned, I am trying to get some stock for the Cal-P on track. As the old saying goes, "so much to do, so little time"... sad.gif But I promise, it will be worth the wait! (I hope) blink.gif

Notta problem Mykel, if it is done slowly the better the engines and rolling stock will be when you have the finished product.

Take your time, no since in many any mistakes when you have (some) time to finish it, so this is my encourgement, git-r-done and happy painting wink.gif

Thanks,
Jonathan
