Well we will finally be posting some new engines on the SLW website.

Southern Pacific and Denver & Rio Grande Western Krauss-Maffei ML-4000 Diesel Hydraulic Locomotive

Model and Textures by David Rowe
Physics by Bob Boudoin
Cabview and Sound by Thomas Pilder and Ingo Huppertz
Horn sound by Chad Thompson

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Notes:

The Cabview is from the German V200 class Diesel Hydraulic locomotive, which were built by
Krauss-Maffei. While it is not 100% accurate for the SP/D&RGW models, it is better than using the
default GP38 or Dash9 cabs. An accurate Cabview will be made available once more information about the
cab layout is found.

The Sounds are also from the V200 Locomotive.

These look awesome. I have the original V200 locomotive model from Thomas Pilder and it is one awesome loco. The V200s are IMHO Germany's most impressive and elegant locos!

I have seen early development photos of the KMs and this is definitely a final version which looks up to it!!! smile.gif

Please don't take this the wrong way...

I have HO scale models of the DRGW units (don't know if anyone recalls the AHM models). Comparing to your models, the cab windows appear smaller (lower) - which is correct?

Either way, yours are quite impressive.

Sorry everyone, I have been super busy with work the past 3 weeks. Some days it doesn't pay to be in management!
Well, enough chit chat!
The locos and a few other surprises can be found here: SLW locomotives page
